so yesterday i was inspired by a post on another blog (and i can’t find it!!! so i can’t share with you!! but i will update when i find it) to inject a little fun into our weeknight.

so last night, husband and i made…

FORT!

a pretty badass fort. sorry for the not awesome photos, but by the time i took them, i was pretty sleepy and lazy and just used my iphone. and it has to be sufficiently dark to have a good fort, duh.

we ate quesedillas for dinner and watched tv in the fort… and then i made s’mores in the microwave and we ate those in the fort too. it was pretty much the most awesome monday night ever.

if you look in the dark grainy-ness, you can see charlie peeking out under there. he is the official fort guardian and he loves it. we left it up today (ate breakfast in the fort too!) and he was super excited to have a fort to play in all day.

we were helping my mom hat shop for a garden party coming up next month. clearly, we found the best options. also- you can see my cute new shoes (lela rose for payless!) peeking out at the bottom! whee!
