so we seem to have a trend here.

ok maybe a few trends… one of them being me not blogging lately. life has been throwing me a few little curve balls and i was having a pretty hard time dealing… but i think we’re back now! and better than ever. we’ll see.

so the other trend which i was initially talking about was that my freedom friday posts just keep on happening on mondays… so maybe i should change it to made in the usa mondays (although you’ll actually see this on tuesday…)? who knows.

this week, we’re going to talk about one of my favorite companies… j.crew!

so yeah, the majority of their offerings are DEFINITELY not made in the usa, but if you head over to jcrew.com and type “usa” in the search bar, you’ll get a smattering of offerings which are made right here!

one of the most surprising results is one of my most favorite:

these are the toothpick jeans! super skinny and super awesome. this wash is next up on my wish list.

same jeans, black wash. i have these and they’re awesome- way easy to dress up or down. i especially love this cut because they’re easy to tuck into a pair of boots- and also look super chic with ballet flats.

so next time you’re shopping at (gasp) the mall- check the tags of things. you never know what you might find that’s actually made in the usa…. and let the rest of us know what you find!
