beautiful mark rothko in the art institute

a beautiful painting by one of most favorite-est artists, mark rothko. i know i know, you might not get it, but isn’t amazing how it seems to emit light? even in a photograph? it was not lit in the gallery, people. that’s amazing.

i think i’ll maybe share phone pictures every so often in the future… it’s funny how much they end up being a mini-catalog of daily life.
