red lipstick!

i admit it… pretty scary. will i get it all over myself and everything else I touch? will it make me look clown-y? will it make me feel weird?

after seeing countless posts and images around the web, this string of posts finally gave me the kick in the pants. had to have some. after the first really good day in awhile (it’s been a rough few weeks lately!) i headed to target with husband in tow to find my very own red.

so red! so scary!

to give credit where credit is due… husband was very patient and helped me pick the color since you can’t try drugstore lipsticks on. i held up the tube color dot to my face, and he gave opinions! good husband. the jury finally settled on revlon (doesn’t test on animals from what I could find out) matte lipstick really red. i put it on as soon as i got home, and am sitting here in my pj’s wearing it! the color is fabulous, it is completely matte, and it’s not leaving a mark on my wine glass. pretty good for 5.94!

i’m going to try and outfit post tomorrow… so hopefully a picture to share (because i know you are all… all 3-5 of you… shaking in suspense). no promises!
